This is one of the common ailments of the children due to being playful. Most of them suffer cuts after playing far from the village where sharped edged grasses are found.

The fist aid that everybody in the village know is the pounding the leaves of Bokbokkasan and rub it in the surface of the cut. It is proven to stop bleeding. It also hastens the closing of the cut skin.
