Indication: For gilab ga dipalom (Tagabawa), bloody sputum, sugpa (Bisaya)
Plant part used: Bark
Method of Preparation: Decoction-Get the bark of tahukan and boil in 3 glasses of water.
Direction for use: Drink the decoction as desired until there is absence of blood in the sputum.
Additional information: The decoction has red color and a bitter taste. The fruit of this plant can be eaten and the part being used for healing should be gathered on the east side, where the sun rises. In measuring where to get the bark, it should be level of the lungs.
