Method of Preparation: Steam- Get a handful of flowers then wrap these flowers using a banana leaf. Subject the banana leaf to direct heat by holding it directly on top of a fire, slowly moving it until it becomes somewhat glossy.
Direction for use: Open the banana leaf and expose the boletang to the steam emitted by the heated flowers. For best result, cover the patient with blanket to saturate the heat/steam.
Additional information: Boletang refers to hemorrhoids, most especially the protruding ones. Boletang also means almoranas in Tagalog and Bisaya.
