Indication: For grabe nga lios (Tagabawa) or piang (Bisaya), pilay (Tagalog)
Plant part used: Whole plant
Method of Preparation: Scorch/ Roast- Gather a handful of bogong then scorch the whole plant.
Direction for use: Massage or (hilot) the affected part carefully using the soot from the scorched Bogong plant.
Additional information: "Grabe nga lios" or "piang" is characterized by cold feet and hands, the pain localizes on the swelling area. A manghihilot ("traditional masseur or masseuse ", bone-setter) is called to massage the dislocated nerves or veins.
