Common name: Sweet calamus (English), Lubigan (Filipino)
Local name: Kamogna (Tagabawa), Lubigan (Tagalog)
Indication: For stomach ache due to sabar (Tagabawa) or hampak hangin (Bisaya)
Plant part used: Mature leaves and tuber
Method of Preparation: Mastication- Gather 1 mature leaf then tear it into 7 parts.
Direction for use: The leaf is masticated by the healer and then "tugpa" or blown to the affected part three times. Done only once a day until the affliction is gone.
Additional information: Sabar is a Tagabawa term culturally defined affliction/ disease
