Common name: Sweet calamus (English), Lubigan (Filipino)
Local name: Kamogna (Tagabawa), Lubigan (Tagalog)
Indication: Fo "pasmo" (Bisaya),para sa "pasma" (Tagalog)
Plant part used: Young leaves
Method of Preparation: Infusion-Harvest 7 pieces of young leaves (udlot) and put it to boil in a half glass of water.
Direction for use: Drink the infusion until affliction is gone.
Additional information: Pasmo is considered as folk illness unique to Filipino culture. It is said to be caused by skipping meals or for others it is caused by entrance of "lamig" that blocks the blood vessels of the patient.
