Local name: TALAS oil for the Uma tribe (combination of Tanglad, Laya, and Sili)
Indication: For sprain, Rayuma, Arthritis, muscle pain and athletes foot
Plant part used: Lemmon grass roots, Ginger, and Ripe Chilli, and coconut oil.
Method of Preparation: Rub
Direction for use: Gather equal amounts of lemmon grass roots, ginger and ripe chilli and cut them into tiny pieces. Boil the coconut oil that is twice the amount of the combined three ingredients. Deep fry until the ingredients are golden brown. Strain the ingredients to gather the oil. Rub the oil to the areas affected at night time befores sleeping.
