- These ailments are believed to be a natural part of growing up and every person is expected to suffer such once in their life time.

- They believe that these are incurable and it depends on the immune system of a person if he or she withstand it. Thomasa Tayawa however mentioned that when they were young and suffering from measles, their mother gathered frogs and boiled it. The water used for boiling was mixed in their bath because it was believe to hasten the healing.
