Method of Preparation: |
Decoction-Scrape the inner part of the bark then boil the scraped bark with the roots . |
Direction for use: |
Let the mother drink the decoction before giving birth. Then the scaped part can be placed as a poultice on the abdomen of the mother. Use a belt ulon(Tagakaolo) or bakus (Bisaya) to secure it on place. |
Additional information: |
The procedure is done to prevent the back flow of the blood (pagsaka sa dugo). |
