Indication: For salabet (natabuan sa dili-ingon nato)
Plant part used: Flower
Method of Preparation: Infusion-Place 7 pieces of flower in a glass of cold water. Put a pinch of salt and apog.
Direction for use: Drink the 1 1/2 tbsp. of infusion until the affliction is gone.
Additional information: If the infusion turns to red, it means that the patient is (+) positive for "salabet", a cultural infliction described as inflicted by supernatural beings. Vomiting is a common side effect of taking the infusion.
Informant: Kalimasan Palapan Bayato-both a mamolongay and a mananamok, a traditional general helaer and a traditional birth attendant respectively.
