Cut a piece of the Laya post in one of the four sides of the house. Cut enough trunk that can be used in cutting the umbilical cord. |

Shape the wood to form like a knife or make the edge sharper. Soak it in a boiling water to sterilized. Use the sharp edge in cutting the umbilicus. |
