Plant part used:
Mature leaves of sili and apog (it should be taken from the middle part of the abuhan)
Method of Preparation:
Gather leaves of sili, number of leaves vary depending on gender of the patient, 7 leaves for male and 9 leaves for female. Place the gathered leaves in the middle of the "abuhan".
Direction for use:
The healer chants these lines "Gahawang ka ihawa ka sodorang kadong, tugkos kane ise. " Then the healer throws the leaves away from the "abuhan".
Additional information:
The throwing of leaves away from the "abuhan" signifies sending away the "bad spirit" that caused the infliction.
