Local name: Mandalugong (Tagabawa), Anagdung (Bisaya), Hanagdong (Tagalog)
Indication: For buha (Tagabawa)
Plant part used: Bark
Method of Preparation: Extracted bark sap- Gather bark of mandalugong ( the white portion) about a palm size of an average man. Squeeze the white portion of the bark until the sap comes out.
Direction for use: Drink the extracted sap or juice about 1 tbsp. until the cough is resolved.
Additional information: Buha refers to cough in English, ubo in Tagalog and Bisaya. The person who will get the bark must stop his/her breathing.
