Indication: Use for dyeing textile materials specifically the "dagmay", traditional cloth of Mandaya tribe, pang kulay sa dagmay (yellow)
Plant part used: Tuber (unod)
Method of Preparation: Obtain a handful of tubers. Expose it to sunlight until totally dry. Grind the sun-dried tuber.
Direction for use: Boil the grinded tuber then when it's already boiling soak the dagmay cloth.
Additional information: Kal'lawag gives a yellow pigmentation.
